Maurice Caplice is an artist that works in Painting, Sculpture and Sound. Working in Clonmel, Callan and Dublin, Ireland.
Caplice graduated from National College of Art & Design, Dublin, Ireland in 2002 with an Honours degree in Fine Art Painting. After 2 years of travel in Europe he achieved a postgraduate Diploma in Fine Art from the Cyprus College of Art, Lempa, Phafos, Cyprus in 2005. Caplice also works as an artist facilitator currently working for D.A.V Community group Dublin and K.C.A.T art collective Callan.
To date he has exhibited and achieved art projects, throughout Ireland and abroad in countries such as Spain, Norway, England, Cyprus and Slovenia.

Alan Crosby a student from Developing Alternative Values was placed as a studio assistant at my studio for 2 hours a day every Friday for 3 months. January 10th to April 10th 2014. Instead of working as a studio assistant Alan worked as a co-collaborator producing 7 paintings within the 3 month block.
